I had my doubts. Boy was I wrong!

As an executive coach, I am constantly keeping an eye on the latest developments in the field of personal development and coaching. Whilst I fully respect and admire Tony Robbins, I always felt that the level of energy he puts out there wasn’t really for me. Too much for me to handle!

However, I signed up for his ‘New World New You’ challenge as I know he also has massive experience and insanely good content.

The initial energy-pumping atmosphere nearly had me clicking off, but I managed to get through it while waiting for the content. To say I was surprised would be a huge understatement. I learned so much during the challenge and have now become a bona fide Tony Robbins fan.

As an intuitive sensitive, I was always a bit averse to the part where Tony gets the crowd pumped up. But having heard what he said about changing your physiology in order to change your state made sense. He was making sure everyone was awake and alert!

Are you ready to seriously shift your thinking?

  1. In order to change your life, you have to change both your state and your story. To change your state, you look at your physiology and change your biochemistry, by changing the story of your limitations.

There are many ways to change your state, Tony had us connect to our inner warrior, our inner magician, our inner lover, and our inner sovereign. It was a mind-blowing exercise. We made the sound each of those inner personas would make. We then thought of what color they would represent and the message they wanted to convey to us.

If you are having a day where you are feeling vulnerable, give it a go! Go inside and tune in to your inner warrior. What might they say to you? I found it an incredibly empowering exercise.

To change your story was almost a whole session in itself, so I couldn’t possibly cover it all here, but here’s what I found life-changing.

This quote:

“The Strongest force in the human personality is the need to stay consistent with how we define ourselves.” Tony Robbins.
